One of the most demanded products of Mercadona during these years have been the Hacendado pizzas, which are manufactured in collaboration with Casa Terradellas. However, on this occasion the Valencian company has decided to remove from its shelves one of the most traditional pizzas: the Margarita.
Mercadona has announced through its official Twitter account that Hacendado’s traditional Margarita pizza will no longer be available, one of the classics. Composed only of tomato, mozzarella, basil, salt and oil. One of the most demanded, but now it will no longer be for sale.
This has come as a surprise to many of Mercadona’s regular buyers, which is why the company has announced that the Margarita pizza will be withdrawn only from the traditional Hacendado range.
So the classic Margarita you will find yourself in a new range of pizzas, and that will consist of a line of products made from sourdough.
Mercadona previously did the same with frango chicken pizza, which is already found as Margarita only in the sourdough line, and Hacendado’s peasant pizza that has also disappeared from the shelves.
