The interview with two stars like
Rafa Nadal and Pau Gasol
It was not only to deal with the current critical situation, it also served to discover them as a person. One of the questions asked by two world-class cracks was about their relationship with the media and the demand for press conferences. This was his reply:
Nadal: “In tennis it is exaggerated. It doesn’t bother me to speak, but there are times when it would not be necessary to hold a press conference. There are games that do not make sense to do it because it would be much more comfortable perhaps to ask some questions after the game in a mixed zone. I have never been afraid to go to the press conference and what I like is that in one way or another it is a relief when it comes to openly talking about my feelings at that time ”.
Gasol: “I have considered the media as traveling companions, by profession. What I like the most, and I have always considered it that way, is that the media is one more colleague from work that helps me to convey my feelings, my message, my opinion to people. That has a big impact and it is a great synergy between the athlete and the media to reach the public. I have always considered it as an alliance. ”
