The Italian Serie A League postponed this Thursday the Torino-Sassuolo, scheduled for this Friday and corresponding to the 24th day, due to a coronavirus outbreak registered in the Turin team’s squad.
The meeting initially scheduled at 8:45 p.m. (7:45 p.m. GMT) this Friday at the Grande Torino Olympic Stadium will be played on March 17 at 3:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. GMT), Serie A reported in an official note.
El Torino, in which Paraguayan Antonio Sanabria is a member, has been unable to train for three days due to a coronavirus outbreak in its squad, with up to seven cases of contagion detected by recent PCR tests.
Sanabria, signed in the last winter market session, already had the coronavirus in early February, but recovered last week.
Lazio.Torino on Tuesday remains at the moment
Technician Davide Nicola’s team will be aware of the evolution of infections and, for now, the visit to Lazio next Tuesday, March 2 at 18:30 (17:30 GMT) is still confirmed.
