The actress Paz Vega, winner of the first edition of “Mask Singer: guess who sings”, will be the new addition to the Antena 3 contest jury for a second edition, in which 15 famous people will hide under spectacular masks trying not to be discovered.
Through a statement, the television channel has reported this Friday that the second edition will arrive “very soon” and it will have “new skins, more emotion and novelties in its mechanics”.
Angel, Cactus, Crocodile, Dragon, Hedgehog, Flamingo, Kitten, Egg, Butterfly, Jellyfish, Girl, Little Monster, Dog, Banana and Frog will be the masks behind which will hide fifteen well-known people whose identity will try to be revealed by the judges after performing on stage.
The actress Paz Vega, who won the first edition of the contest with her Catrina mask, will join the team of researchers together with the humorist José Mota and the filmmakers Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, in a contest that will once again be presented by Arturo Valls.
Produced by Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Fremantle Spain, “Mask Singer” is inspired by the Korean format “King of Mask Singer”, which has been adapted to different countries and which last year achieved an average of 23.6% on Antena 3 screen share, with almost 3 million viewers.
As a novelty this year, the number of masks increases compared to the first edition and this will make it possible for three groups to be formed that will duel separately in the first galas of the edition.
In addition, the program will once again have new invited researchers in this new edition, who will come to contribute new ideas to the fixed panel of the format, and with new invited masks, who will resolve their identity on the same day of their performance.
