The World Series will resume in May in France

World Rugby (WR), the international federation of the sport of the oval ball, has unveiled this Wednesday the program of resumption of the World Series, in which the Spanish teams participate, which will begin in May with two women’s tournaments in Marcoussis (France).

WR has announced that the men’s circuit will resume after the summer, once the Olympic Games, but has arranged for women to return to competition on two consecutive weekends, May 15-16 and 22-23, at the National Rugby Center that the French federation has in the vicinity of Paris.

The men’s competition will return on dates yet to be determined, between September and October, with respective competitions in Vancouver (Canada) and London, plus a third tournament to be held on October 29-30 in Singapore.

From then until the end of the year, the season will conclude with three joint competitions for men and women, the first of them in Hong Kong, between November 5 and 7, which will also host the World Series promotion tournaments in both categories that weekend.

On the first two weekends of December, the season will conclude with the tour that traditionally opens them: the tournament of Dubai (United Arab Emirates), which will start on the 3rd; and that of Cape Town (South Africa), which will start on the 10th.
