The semifinals opened with the duel between Cone (Guasones Team) and Adriman (DUX Gaming), corresponding to the Winners Bracket from the northeast area. The runner-up of the last edition, Cone, and Adriman, who is standing out both nationally and internationally, saw each other’s faces. Adriman won the first leg 3-1, but Cone came back in the second leg (3-1) taking the cross to extra time where two of his goals sent Adriman to the Losers Bracket final. All in all, the divisional final will face again, Cone and Adriman next March 4.
Also on Thursday, March 4, they will play AndoniiPM (McDonald’s Riders) and Pepeelbotellu (Dani Alves S2V Good Crazy), end of the northeast zone. The first leg went to AndoniiPM (2-1), and his goal in the 80th minute in the second leg equalized the duel (1-1), giving him an overall result of 3-2 and a move to the final . In the Losers Bracket, Pepeelbotellu made up for it against Chousita (Falcons) thanks to the second leg.
The outcome of the semifinals of the southwest division of PS4 was the same as in the previous ones, since the final will be played by the same players who faced each other in the semifinal of Winners Bracket: H1dalgo and Adrián Cifuentes, both from QLASH Spain. H1dalgo, who in the previous round had eliminated the reigning champion of the RFEF JRA eCopa, left the second with no options beating him in both duels (1-0 and 1-4).
Adrián Cifuentes will have the opportunity for revenge by beating Daniel Aguilar (Zeta Gaming) in the Losers Bracket, who arrived as a favorite. Cifuentes took the first leg 3-1 and the return was more even and ended in insufficient draw (4-4) to turn the tie around.
The Xbox Southwest division was the only one of the four that will offer a different final. In the Winners Bracket the player of DUX Gaming KingRicar and Riders faced Zidane (McDonald’s), far superior, winning in the first leg (2-0) and in the second leg (4-3). In the Losers Bracket KingRicar could not recover and fell before Fer22 (free agent, no team), one of the great surprises of the RFEF eCopa, with a 0-0 in the first leg and a 3-5 in the second leg. In the divisional final on March 5, he will face Riders Zidane.
