The Partizan of Belgrade hired the American escort Kevin
Punter with a two-year contract, the club announced. According to some sources, Punter joins the Serbian powerhouse with a three million deal over the two years of his contract, which is the largest deal in Serbian basketball.
Punter moves to Partizan after an outstanding season in the Euroleague with the Olympia Milan. He led the Italian team in scoring with 14.3 points per game in the club’s first qualification to the Final Four in 29 years and was also the top scorer in the semifinal against Barcelona with 23 points.
The acquisition of Punter is a more than clear sign of the great ambitions of the Partizan (which include a return to the Euroleague), especially after the club assured Zeljko Obradovic as head coach.
