The Mirandés has communicated six positive cases of Covid-19 after the latest tests carried out on both the players and the coaching staff that make up the first team, as reported this Thursday by the rojillo club in a statement.
The Mirandés has sent the results to the competent health authorities and to the Professional Football League (LFP) itself and is awaiting news from both entities.
The Burgos entity has not revealed the identity of those affected, although it has explained that they are in perfect health and isolated in their respective homes, in accordance with the protocols established by the LFP and the Higher Sports Council.
The first outbreak of this season
It is the first outbreak of coronavirus that has been detected in Mirandés since competitions were resumed this season.
The team led by José Alberto López should play the match corresponding to matchday 31 of LaLiga Smartbank on Saturday in Vallecas against Rayo Vallecano, however that match is in the air given these new circumstances.
Already in the first round, the visit of the Madrid club to Miranda had to be postponed because of the storm Filomena.
