Rober Pier’s positive forces Levante to repeat PCRs

Levante announced this Monday night that defender Rober Pier has tested positive for coronavirus and that the squad will repeat the PCR tests on Tuesday before traveling to Portugalete in the afternoon.

Rober Pier has tested positive in the PCR test carried out this Monday morning and the Galician defender is already isolated, complying with the health protocol, under the control and monitoring of the club’s medical services.

As established in LaLiga protocol, all players, coaches and employees with direct contact with the team will repeat the PCR tests tomorrow.

Levante, which has already confined Rubén Vezo since last Tuesday due to covid-19, plans to travel to Portugalete on Tuesday afternoon to play the second round of the Copa del Rey on Wednesday morning.
