The first AVE train on this high-speed line departs from Madrid-Puerta de Atocha at 6:30 a.m. on weekdays and at 7:30 a.m. on weekends.
In the opposite direction, the first service from Barcelona-Sants leaves at 5:51 am every day of the week except Sundays, when it does so at 8 am.
Renfe has recalled in the statement that it maintains its voluntary commitment to punctuality, which establishes the return of 100% of the amount of the AVE ticket if there is a delay of more than 30 minutes and 50% if it is between 15 and 30 minutes.
