He Parma Calcium announced this Sunday the dismissal from your coach, Roberto D’Aversa (45), because “in recent weeks, cohesion, unity of purpose, harmony and mutual enthusiasm have failed on the basis of the successes achieved together in the last four years,” according to the statement.
The Serie A entity, however, thanks the coach for everything he has done for the club. “Nothing will be able to annul the indelible goals carved in the history of the club also thanks to the fundamental contribution of the coach and his squad, who are thanked for what they have achieved in recent years.”
D’Aversa took the reins of Parma in 2016, with the team in the Lega Pro (Third) and led the team to Serie A, in which he finished 11th this season.
The Italian press speculates that his replacement would be former Lecce coach Fabio Liverani (44).
