Nuno Espirito Santo has renewed his contract as coach of Wolverhampton Wanderers for three more years. The Portuguese coach, who took over as the ‘wolves’ bench in the Championship (English Second Division) in 2017, achieved promotion to the Premier League in his first campaign and qualified for the Europa League in the second.
Last season was the least successful, finishing seventh in the Premier, but without a place in the Europa League and falling in the quarterfinals of the continental competition.
“I feel good, prepared for this challenge and with a lot of desire. We are working very hard because it is a new cycle. Now it does not matter what we have done before, the important thing is what we have ahead of us. We have to prepare and do things well to be able to fight for our objectives ”, assured Nuno after renewing.
