Bad news at Manchester City. The English club has confirmed the injury of Kevin De Bruyne, although it has not given more details about it.
The ‘citizen’ team has limited itself to communicating that the Belgian international has a right ankle injury and that he will miss this Wednesday’s game against Aston Villa.
“Manchester City can confirm that Kevin de Bruyne suffered a right foot and ankle injury in Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.”
Despite announcing the withdrawal of De Bruyne ahead of the Premier match against Aston Villa, City has not indicated the time of absence of its player.
City faces next week the first leg of the Champions League semifinals against PSG and it is unknown if it will be able to have its franchise player for that tie.
De Bruyne was injured as soon as the second half started in the FA Cup semi-final match against Chelsea. The Belgian player made a bad support with his right ankle and had to be substituted.
