Until the end of the season, Juan Ramón López Muñiz will replace Asier Garitano at Deportivo Alavés, after the club from Vitoria decided this Sunday to cease the Gipuzkoa coach and the rest of the Babazorro team’s coaching staff.
The club announced the incorporation of the coach from Gijón, who will take over the team during the last four days of the league and arrives in Vitoria with his trusted assistants, Álvaro Reina López, as second coach, and Antonio José López Mengual, as goalkeeping coach.
Among the successes of the new albiazul coach include promotion to the First Division with Levante, who trained 27 matches in the top flight, as well as Málaga and Racing Santander.
The last experience on a bench was in his third stage at Malaga. It was last season, with the Malaga team in the Second Division.
