A group of fans greeted the Liverpool bus in Leeds with chants against the Super League after it was revealed that the ‘red’ club is one of the founding members of the project.
The dozens of people crowded around Elland Road welcomed the Liverpool bus with chants, in addition to displaying banners with the inscription ‘RIP Liverpool’.
Jürgen Klopp’s team will face Leeds tonight in a Premier match just one day after having shown their support for the European Super League, of which they are founders along with eleven other clubs, five of them English. The match will be played without fans in the stands due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition, similar messages, appealing to the shame of the club, appeared throughout the day around Anfield.
