Toni Kroos has confirmed this Friday what was an open secret: he leaves the German team. The Real Madrid midfielder has announced the end of his international career to fully focus on your goals with your club.
The player said on his Instagram account that it was a previously considered decision, making the defeat against England 2-0 in the second round of the Eurocup was his last international match.
“I have played 106 times for Germany. There won’t be one more time. I wish, and I would have given everything, because they were 109 matches and have closed my career with the title of the Eurocup ”, said Kroos.
Kroos made his debut for the German national team in March 2010 and was a starter on the team that was crowned world champion in 2014.
