Kevin de Bruyne’s diagnosis, with a double fracture

Kevin de Bruyne, who retired in the 60th minute of the final after receiving a strong collision with Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger and unable to contain his tears, explained this Sunday through the networks the diagnosis that the doctors have given him ; a double fracture of the nose (acute) and of the left orbital.

The Belgian star himself, a fundamental piece in Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, has stated in his message that he had just returned from the hospital and that he felt “good, obviously disappointed in yesterday but we will return.”

De Bruyne did not say how long he will have to remain inactive. Belgium will make their Euro debut on June 12 against Russia in Saint Petersburg. His other rivals in the final phase are Denmark (day 17) and Finland (day 21).

Everything indicates that the City center is a serious doubt for the team led by Robert Martínez, who finished third in the 2018 World Cup in Russia and is first in the FIFA rankings.

City lost 0-1 in the Champions League final played in Do Dragao against Chelsea.
