Javi Martínez raises the ‘salad bowl’ in his goodbye to Bayern

Javi Martínez was this Saturday, together with David Alaba and Jérôme Boateng, the first to lift the traditional ‘salad bowl’ that distinguishes the Bundesliga champion, a deference that Manuel Neuer, the Bayern captain, had towards them, because his teammates played against Augsburg their last game as players of the Munich team.

Javi Martínez, 32, came to Bayern in 2012 and as a player for the German team he has won the Champions League (2012–13, 2019–20), (9 Bundesligas (2012–13, 2013–14, 2014–15, 2015 –16, 2016–17, 2017–18, 2018–19, 2019–20 and 2020–21), 5 German Cups (2012–13, 2013–14, 2015–16, 2018–19, 2019–20), 4 German Super Cups (2016, 2017, 2018, 2020), 2 European Super Cups (2012–13, 2019–20) and 2 Club World Cups (2013, 2020).
