‘I spent’, the song of the summer performed by Enrique Iglesias and Farruko

Enrique Iglesias has published this Friday the topic ‘I overdid’, a collaboration with the reggaeton star Farruko which is the first preview of his next album, which will be released next September.

In the absence of more details, his record company has described it as “A waste of energy (…), built on the basis of an extraordinary electric melody and with an irresistible rhythm that will undoubtedly make it the anthem of this summer ”.

The song is accompanied by a video shot on the beaches of El Portillo in Samaná, in the Dominican Republic, and directed by Alejandro Pérez, responsible for other emblematic works of Iglesias’ career, such as “Bailando”, “Súbeme la radio” and ” The heart hurts”.

“Me pasé” is also the first song that Iglesias has launched as a headline since “Move to Miami” in 2018, although the composer and interpreter from Madrid has not stopped getting into the studio in recent years, with abundant participation in songs for other artists.

In recent years, Iglesias has appeared for example in Descemer Bueno’s “We went away”, Jon Z’s “After I Lost You”, Y2K’s “Lalala” (in which Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen also collaborated) and, more recently, “Fútbol & Rumba”, from the latest album by Anuel AA.

Of course, you have to go back to 2014 to find Iglesias’ last studio album, “Sex and love”, which included his great international hit “Bailando”, of which a figure equivalent to 8 million copies was shipped worldwide. , being the tenth best-selling song of 2014.

The launch of “Me Pasé” will heat up his landing on September 25 in Las Vegas (USA) in what will be the start of his North American tour with Ricky Martin, a historic event with two Latin music legends .
