The couple formed by the Spanish Marcel granollers and the Argentine Horacio Zeballos won the doubles title of the ATP Masters 1000 in Rome this Sunday by defeating the French 6-4, 5-7 and 10-8 Jeremy Chardy and Fabrice Martin.
After winning this year in Buenos Aires and in the Rio Open, Granollers and Zeballos, who occupy the fourth position in the world doubles ranking, conquered their third title of the season after winning a battle of one hour and 45 minutes.
It is the fourth tournament that the Spanish and Argentine couple have added to their record, after they also triumphed in the Canadian 1,000 Masters 2019.
Granollers and Zeballos thus left behind the setback that American Austin Krajicek and Croatian Franko Skugor inflicted on them a week ago in the doubles final in Kitzbuhel.
On clay his balance is 16-1
