Fuenlabrada forgives Lugo in Luis César’s debut

The Fuenlabrada forgave (0-0) the Lugo at the debut of Louis caesar on the rojiblanco bench and added a point that keeps Jose Luis Oltra undefeated and the locals without falling into their field since Mehdi Nafti, sacked last week, took over the team on matchday six of LaLiga SmartBank.

The Madrilenians had chances to win, three of them Kanté in the first act and a shot to the crossbar of the Argentine Franchu in the second, but they had to settle for a draw with added value having had to play with ten in the last twenty-five minutes due to the expulsion of Glauder.

El Lugo changed the style book of Mehdi
Nafti for that of Luis
Cease. He wanted to elaborate the game more instead of waiting and looking for the spaces with the verticality of their ends. Fuenlabrada opted, initially, for the Pressure high and was able to get a profit already after three minutes, but Kanté, after taking Macelo Djaló’s back, crashed for the first time with Ander
Stonecutter.

Arvin
Appiah it was Lugo’s best weapon to commit the Madrilenians until the break. The English international in the lower categories entertained too much in his first penetration, caused a foul on the edge of the area in the second and with a center-kick threatened to Belman in the third.

Even so, the best chances were for Fuenlabrada due to the errors of the rojiblanca coverage, especially those of Djaló. Kanté did not make them profitable. At 25 minutes he crossed too much against Cantero and at 31, after a loss by Hugo Rama for letting the ball pass through the midfield, he tested the Lugo goalkeeper with a centered shot.

Luis César did not like the performance of his center-back, who he left in the locker room at halftime to give entry to Carlos
Whistle. In Fuenlabrada, Jose
Luis
Oltra had to move the bench for the inconvenience of Kanté, who left his post to Garcés.

What did not change at the beginning of the second half was the success of the Madrilenians. The crossbar denied the Argentine Franchu the goal on a right hand from the edge in the 54th minute.

The entrance of Gerard
Valentine revitalized Lugo’s attack. The winger looked for the second yellow to Glauder and got it at 66 minutes. To Fuenlabrada, who was feeling comfortable, the game was complicated. In addition, the duel cooled down with a break of more than five minutes due to the injury of one of the assistants of Or with
Arráiz, which was replaced.

Those of Oltra they had to defend. The Panamanian ‘Puma’ Rodríguez broke Pulido and Manu
Barreiro poorly defined in the small area. Fuenlabrada refreshed the team with the debut of Thorny and the entrance of Pinchi. Ambitious changes from the visitors, who in the discount could take the victory with a shot from Garcés to the side of the net.
