The 24 Hours of Catalonia of Motorcycling They have started their particular countdown. On Saturday at 12 noon the 26th edition of the test will start at the Circuit de Barcelona-CatalunyaBut first, the participants must be fully employed in the initial phase of the sports program.
The mythical endurance test presents for this edition a total of 33 teams of 4 different nationalities, which number about 130 pilots. Diversity of brands present, as well as projects and levels on the asphalt, with professional teams and World Cup participants or training teams and amateur pilots. Speed, strategy, skill, perseverance and rhythm must team up to achieve gold after 24 hours followed by excitement.
The sports program will be officially released on Friday, although tomorrow there will be a private training day for participants who wish to do so. On Friday at 4:00 p.m., free practice will take place, while at 6:00 p.m. the qualifying rounds will begin, dividing the riders into the groups of blue, yellow, red and white armbands, who will go out to ride separate form. At 8.30 pm, when all the groups have rolled, the starting grid of the 24 Hours of Catalonia will be known.
From 10 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. the night trainings will take place, to test the artificial lighting of the Catalan track.
As a novelty, this year the participants will have a session of warm up on saturday (9:45 – 10:15 h) to finish finalizing details before departure, which will take place at 12 noon. One day later the checkered flag will be given.
The Yamaha bLU cRU Cup joins the rally
The 24 Hours of Catalonia of Motorcycling they will have a supporting championship, the Yamaha bLU cRU Cup. The one-brand contest, which visited the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya just a few weeks ago coinciding with the Championship Mediterranean Speed, is being tested again in Catalan lands.
On Friday at 5:10 p.m. they will carry out the qualifying training sessions. At 8:55 p.m. they will carry out the first race of the weekend, while at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday they will do the second.
Hours and access
Attendees will be able to access through the Gate 3 and park your vehicles in the parking C. Although localities are assigned numerically in the Main Grandstandl, you will also be able to walk to the Grandstand G to contemplate the activity on the track.
On Saturday the doors will open at 9 in the morning and entry will be allowed until midnight (00.00 h). The facilities will remain open until 1 in the morning, at which time attendees must leave the Circuit. On Sunday the doors will reopen at 8 a.m., until 12 noon.

With the purchase of the 5 euro ticket for the 24 Hours of Catalunya Motorcycling, fans will be able to discount the full amount for a ticket for the Catalunya WorldSBK Round (17-19 September). In person, the discount can be applied in the same sports facilities during the 24H of Catalonia, and online it will be available from July 6 to 13.
