As a result of the information that emerged this Sunday regarding the acceleration of the imminent announcement of the creation of the Super League, details of said competition are being known, and the last one points to Florentino Pérez as the call to preside over it.
According to him Daily Mail, the highest president of Real Madrid would be in charge of the Super league, with Joel glazer (Manchester United), John W. Henry (Liverpool), Stan kroenke (Arsenal) and Andrea Agnelli (Juventus) as vice-presidents.
Especially striking is the Agnelli, to date considered an ally of Aleksander ceferin, president of a UEFA that this same Sunday issued a statement calling the Super League a “cynical project” and signing it jointly with the English, Spanish and Italian federations and leagues.
This Sunday it was revealed that 12 teams have already signed and given their “OK” to the creation of the Super League. It is about six English (Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham), three Spaniards (Real Madrid, Barça and Atlético de Madrid) and three Italians (Juventus, Milan and Inter).
However, the plans go through the fact that the competition is disputed by a total of 20 teams. 15 would be fixed (so it would be necessary to add 3 to the 15 mentioned) and 5 would be classified each season based on their results in other competitions.
