Getafe striker Enes Unal, author of the two goals of his team’s victory in Huesca, said that there is “a lot of character” in the Madrid team.
Unal explained that Getafe players have been talking for days that they had been playing games well and that they were close to being “a good team” again.
“We brought out the character and we are very happy for the victory. We have seen a Getafe that reminded us of last season. At the most important moment we have brought out the character and we have returned to being a strong team,” he said.
He also praised his team for knowing how to fight to get out of the lower zone: “I have played in Valladolid and I know what the pressure is like to save themselves, but at Getafe it is more difficult because they are a team used to being at the top.”
