Elche CF, through a note on their social networks, has officially said goodbye to the Benidormense goalkeeper Miguel San Román, a player on loan from Atlético de Madrid this past season, although they will try to recount the next season with him in the First Division.
Sources of the entity have assured Efe that Elche will try to have the Benidormense goalkeeper again, either as a year on loan from Atlético de Madrid or with the freedom letter, since they consider him the ideal complement to the Catalan Edgar Badía .
The Benidorm goalkeeper, despite being in the shadow of Edgar Badía, has left a pleasant memory in the entity from Elche both for his performances in the Copa del Rey and League matches and for his behavior in the dressing room, which was considered him a key piece.
San Román has played four league matches this past season, three of them in the final stage of the competition, and three in the Copa del Rey, a competition in which they had an outstanding performance in all the qualifiers.
“Grace Miguel, in one year you have earned the affection of all the fans thanks to your work, your perseverance, your attitude and your great talent. We wish you the best,” says the club’s note.
