Former Argentine footballer Martin Demichelis (39), currently coach of the Bayern Munich youth team, could accompany Manuel Pellegrini on his next adventure on the bench for Real Betis. Pellegrini and Demichelis already coincided for several years in the ranks of Malaga -where Joaquín and Juanmi were also- and in those of Manchester City, where the Argentine central defender arrived in the second part of the 2013/14 season, just in time to proclaim that season Champion of the Premier, a success in which the current Betic Javi García also participated.
Before playing at Málaga, where he would hang up his boots after spending time with City and Espanyol, at the end of the 2016/17 season, Demichelis played eight seasons at Bayern Munich, whose youth team he currently heads.
The position of Demichelis -whose name Diario de Sevilla advances- would be to be defined, since Pellegrini has always had as second coach Rubén Cousillas, historical assistant since its inception and who would also accompany him in the Verdiblanco club.
In addition, Pellegrini would arrive accompanied by a goalkeeper coach and a physical coach. In fact, in his time at West Ham, his last club, the Chilean had Xavi Valero to train the goalkeepers and Félix Cao and José Cabello for physical training, where Marcos Álvarez will surely also follow.
