Costas and Jorge Sáenz return to training partially with Celta

The defenders David Costas and Jorge Saenz have returned to training partially this Monday with Celta de Vigo, after the Spanish Soccer Players Association (AFE) asked the Galician club to rejoin the group when it understood that their rights were being violated.

However, from the AFE they point out that it is an “insufficient” reinstatement because the coaching staff prevents both players from participating in all exercises, so they will continue to fight so that their integration into the group is “total”.

Costas and Sáenz, to whom the sports management continues to seek a way out by not counting for coach Eduardo Coudet, had been exercising for several weeks, in double session, apart from their teammates by order of the celestial leaders, who had already adopted this measure previously with other footballers such as Jonny, Sergi Gómez or Jozabed, among others.

Costas has a contract with Celta until June 2022, while the transfer of Jorge Sáenz, agreed in the operation that brought Uruguayan striker Maxi Gómez to Mestalla, ends on June 30.
