Celta start group training without Pione Sisto

Celta de Vigo completed this Monday the first training corresponding to phase 3 of the LaLiga protocol, with the squad divided into three groups and with the absence of the Danish winger Pione Sisto as the main novelty.

The second week of work after the break caused by the coronavirus COVID-19 started at ten in the morning, with a group of nine players who, like in the first sessions, took their temperature upon arrival at the sports city.

Iago Aspas, Santi Mina, Néstor Araujo, Jorge Sáenz Bermejo, Beltrán, Olaza and goalkeepers Iván Villar and Rosic were the first footballers to place themselves under the command of Óscar García Junyent. After a gentle warm-up and physical work on the synthetic grass pitch, the group performed ball exercises on their usual training ground.

Other regular holders like Rubén Blanco, Bradaric, Murillo or Smolov worked out in the second group along with Juan Hernández, Juncá, Kevin, Yeboah, Fontán and Pape Cheikh; Denis Suárez, Hugo Mallo, Rafinha, Okay and Aidoo participated in the last turn, among others.

Danish international Pione Sisto, who was fined by the club for skipping confinement and traveling from Vigo to Denmark on March 27, was the only footballer of the first team who did not work with his teammates.
