Carreño and De Miñaur, to Cincinnati doubles semifinals

The couple formed by the Spanish Pablo Carreño and the australian Alex de Miñaur beat the Dutch 7-5, 6-7 (8) and 10-7 this Wednesday Wesley koolhof and the croatian Nikola Mektic, eighth seeded, in the doubles quarterfinals of the Cincinnati ATP Masters 1000 tournament, which is being played in New York due to the coronavirus.

The victory allows Carreño and De Miñaur to play the semifinals against the pair formed by the Americans Steve Johnson and Austin Krajicek, who won 6-4 and 7-5 in the quarterfinals against Dutch Jean-Julien Rojer and Romanian Horia Tecau.
