“Our obligation is to compete in the game as we have done the previous ones,” stressed the coach albiazul, who reported that, after meeting with director Sergio Fernández, he can confirm their continuity, but pointed out that they were summoned next week to start prepare next season.
The Madrilenian expressed in a telematic press conference that, facing the match against Sevilla in which there is nothing sporting at stake, the body asks him to “continue to improve and make a competitive team” and, on the other hand, “that the who have played less can have this game to do so ”.
Thus, the babazorro coach will bet on balance and on forming an “eleven” to “enjoy the match, savor it and finish as well as possible.”
Calleja also expects a team with changes, but clarified that both want the three points and end up winning. “We want to see players who have had fewer minutes, but we must not go crazy,” he said.
He acknowledged that the week has been “atypical”, after achieving salvation, and said that there have been “moments to enjoy, but assured:” As soon as we get into the field, our head is in seriousness and professionalism.
