Gareth Bale does not know where he will play next season, but apparently he is clear that he will not forgive a euro of his contract that joins him to Real Madrid until June 2022.
According to the Mirror, the Welsh forward, currently on loan to Tottenham, intends to collect what is stipulated in his contract, that is, 20 million euros gross, whether or not he plays for the white team next season.
The British newspaper adds that the footballer will not accept a salary cut, either to go on loan to another team or to fulfill his last year at the Santiago Bernabéu wearing the white shirt.
Madrid, for its part, will try to transfer Bale to another team and save his card to be able to undertake the arrival of Kylian Mbappé.
The Welshman seems to have taken off at Tottenham, with whom he has chained several remarkable performances, something that is celebrated in Madrid with hopes of finding a new destination for him.
Bale has eight goals and five assists after 22 games for José Mourinho’s team.
