The coronavirus outbreak that has hit Aston Villa hard continues to generate uncertainty in the calendar. The Premier League decided to postpone Wednesday’s match against Tottenham and is considering whether to do the same with the match against Everton next Sunday.
According to the Mirror, it is very possible that the clash against the ‘toffee’ will be postponed despite having been postponed until Sunday.
Aston Villa had to close its sports facilities after the increase in positives among its squad. The members of the first team were confined and the ‘villains’ had to play the cup duel against Liverpool with the U23 team, something that cannot happen in the Premier.
This Tuesday Dean Smith’s team has not exercised either, so the duel against José Mourinho’s team this Wednesday is postponed.
The Mirror understands that the match against Everton is also in danger, although it will be the evolution in Villa that will determine whether or not the calendar should be modified again.
