Alavés have announced that they have reached an agreement with Sporting to transfer Saúl García to the Gijon club for the remainder of the season.
The Cantabrian defender, who arrived at the babazorro club in the summer of 2019 and was on loan to Rayo Vallecano last season, will complete another year away from Vitoria.
With this move, Alavés continues to free up space in the squad to be able to undertake signings before the end of the incorporation period on October 5. Sergio Fernández wants to accelerate departures during this last week of the winter market.
Dundee United go for Fuchs
Another who may be close to leaving is Jeando Fuchs. Dundee United negotiates with Alavés the transfer of the Cameroonian, according to the British press.
Fuchs has had a special case. He was signed by the Albiazul team from Sochaux in the summer of 2019 as an important bet for the future. F
He was loaned out shortly after to Israel’s Maccabi Haifa, but the midfielder decided to unilaterally break the contract in January of this year, which earned him the opening of a file by the Alava entity.
