Parma, the Italian Serie B club, made official this Wednesday the signing of Adrian Barnabas, 20-year-old Catalan midfielder trained in the quarries of RCD Espanyol and FC Barcelona that belonged to Manchester City.
“Parma Calcio 1913 communicates that it reached an agreement with Adrian Barnabas for a contract that will bind him to the club until June 30, 2024 ”, reported the Parmesan team in an official note. The skilled left-hander was in negotiations to return to Barça, specifically to Barça B of Francisco Javier Garcia Pepper, but the relief on the bench for Sergi Barjuan stopped their incorporation.
Barnabas, born in Barcelona in 2001, reinforces a club that, despite having declined this year, has great ambitions for the future with its American ownership.
He has already reinforced the team with the veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi buffon and with the Argentine Franco Vazquez, former Sevilla player. In addition, he renewed the loan of the Argentine Juan Brunetta for the next season.
