A pro surfer saves a woman from drowning in violent waves in Hawaii

On December 31, the Australian professional surfer, Mikey Wright, in an act of heroism and bravery, entered the sea and saved a girl from drowning in the strong waves that hit the beaches of Hawaii. A clip released by Tyler Wright, the surfer’s sister, shows several beachgoers trying to get the girl out of the ocean, but none are successful, so Mikey immediately appears and in a few seconds and after fighting the waves, he manages to get the woman out. After the dissemination of the content on social networks, Internet users recognized and applauded the heroism of the young man, because if he had not intervened, the girl would probably have drowned since there was no other person who could remove her from the water. Wright was in Hawaii after participating in the Pipeline Masters, an event that took place shortly before Christmas.
