Everything is prepared in Anoeta so that, starting next Tuesday, March 30, the Real stadium will open its doors to mass vaccination of different social groups in Gipuzkoa. Two nursing teams from the Real will inoculate Astrazeneca vaccines to users and workers of social inclusion resources (residences, homes and day centers), to personnel who work in residential resources for the care of minors, staff that attends to dependent persons receiving the economic benefit of personal assistance (PEAP), and people who use occupational places. In total, the group to be vaccinated in the coming weeks will be approximately 8,500 people. That these groups are going to be vaccinated in Anoeta is a decision of the Basque Government. Until now, the nursing teams have inoculated most of the doses at the vaccination point located in Txara I, with the exception of the elderly in day centers, who have received the vaccines in their own center. Starting next week, the vaccination point at Reale Arena will be added to the campaign.
