The Colombian Jhon Córdoba sentenced this Sunday the triumph of Hertha Berlin against Bayer Leverkusen (3-0), which compromises the future of Peter Bosz’s team with a view to achieving a place in the next Champions League. Leverkusen is 6th, 7 points behind 4th, Eintracht Frankfurt, and the Champions zone.

The Colombian scored the third goal for the Hungarian Pal Dardai team that exhausted the visiting options. It was half an hour into the game to round off a great first part of the Berlin box. Córdoba took advantage of a ball received from Frenchman Matteo Guendouizi to beat Lennart Grill.

Previously, two passes by the Belgian Dodi Lukebakio facilitated the goals of the Dutch Deyovaisio Zeefuik, in minute 4 and of the Brazilian Matheus Cunha, in the 16.

The victory at the Olympic Stadium gives Hertha a break, 14th, 2 points from the relegation zone and one point from the promotion.
