Year 2021 it has already begun. And from now on it is already known what the calendar of holidays and bridges that is going to affect different communities.
He Work calendar of 2021 includes a total of 11 national holidays, two less than in 2020, although only eight will be celebrated jointly throughout the national territory.
This is specified in the resolution issued by the General Directorate of Labor by which it is published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) the list of business holidays for the year that has just begun.
These are the eight days that will be a party throughout Spain:
Friday, January 1, 2021: New Year.
Friday, April 2, 2021: Good Friday.
Saturday, May 1, 2021: Labor Festival.
Tuesday, October 12, 2021: National Holiday of Spain.
Monday, November 1, 2021: All Saints.
Monday, December 6, 2021: Spanish Constitution Day.
Wednesday, December 8, 2021: Immaculate Conception Day.
Saturday, December 25, 2021: Nativity of the Lord.
The calendar also specifies three other common holidays, the celebration of which can vary depending on the autonomous community:
Wednesday, January 6, 2021: Epiphany of the Lord. All AA CCs have decided to keep this day.
Thursday, April 1, 2021: Holy Thursday.
Monday, August 16, 2021: Monday after the Assumption of the Virgin.
Thursday April 1 will be a holiday in all the Communities except Catalonia and the Valencian Community. On Friday March 19, which is celebrated on Father’s Day (San José), it will only be a holiday in the Valencian Community, Extremadura, the Community of Madrid, Murcia, Galicia, Navarra and the Basque Country.
This year there will be two remarkable bridges to take advantage of several days of rest. The first will be the October 12 °, which falls on Tuesday, and which will allow citizens to chain four days off with the weekend.
Regarding the Constitution bridgeThey can be joined up to five days, since December 6 falls on Monday and December 8 on Wednesday.
